7 Weight Loss Tips For Super Fast Fat Loss

Losing weight is all about having the right habits and lifestyle. In this article I want to share with you 7 tips for a fast weight loss that can last for many years to come.

1. Prepare your kitchen - We all know that what you eat plays a key role in how much weight you lose or gain. Why should you allow yourself to be tempted for no reason? Don’t buy large amounts of the kind of fattening, sugar filled food that you may enjoy eating too much of. Clear you kitchen of tempting fattening food and you’ll find it much easier to eat the healthy food that will help you to lose weight.

2. Set short term goals - Give yourself a deadline by which you will shed some pounds. Make sure this deadline and goal are realistic. There’s little point in setting yourself up to fail. This will only damage your motivation. Short term goals can be a great way to focus your efforts on correct weight loss and start shedding pounds faster.

3. Eat protein for breakfast - studies show that including a good portion of protein in your breakfast helps to lower your appetite and reduce cravings throughout the day. It also helps to give you a short term metabolic boost which is always a good thing if you’re trying to lose fat.

4. Do 10 minutes of exercise each morning - This will elevate your energy level and give you the right kind of mindset for the rest of your day. You won’t want to ruin the effect of the short workout you did in the morning and this will help you, mentally, to stick to your healthier eating routine.

5. Watch what you drink - Beverages are sources of hidden calories and this can add hundreds of calories to your diet day after day. Sugar rich drinks and sodas and alcohol should be cut down if not avoided completely. Water should be your main drink.

6. Do both cardio and strength training - A combination of cardiovascular and resistance training is the best way to train in order to boost calorie burning and your metabolism. It will give you the best results.

7. Eat good fats - Yes, I said fats. Some fat is useful to your body. In fact it’s necessary and won’t make you fatter. Good fats are found in olive oil, avocado, nuts and seeds.

Papaya and Weight Loss

Americans continue to search for the magic formula and potion that will assist with loosing weight. Look at all the books, videos, websites and drugs that are all marketed to that end. Sadly, it just doesn’t exist. It is necessary to make life style changes by incorporating weight control techniques such as exercise, portion control and making changes in food choices.

Fortunately, there are those natural plant and herb based products that can help to jumpstart the body on the route to weight loss by cleansing out toxins and providing nutrients as well. This article will focus on papaya and how this fruit assists in healthful weight loss.

What is the papaya fruit?

Papaya is a tropical fruit that is grown in regions such as southern Mexico and Central America. The flesh is juicy and it has a sweet, tart taste. It is rich in antioxidants, which help fight disease.

Papaya is full of vitamins A and C, fiber, and potassium. It is also helpful in calming an upset stomach as a result of occasional indigestion. As a matter of fact, papaya comes in pill form to help those who have problems with their digestion. Usually, the pills are taken within 30 minutes of eating. Many prefer to eat the actual fruit, which is beneficial as well.

Papaya also contains some pretty powerful enzymes such as papain which helps in the digestion of protein. Also, the fruit contains amylase and protease which are also important enzymes that breaks downs carbs more efficiently. A stronger digestive system boosts the efficiency of the metabolism, which definitely helps to lose weight. Added bonus is a stronger immune system improves overall health.

Papaya and weight loss

Eating a diet rich in fresh, locally grown fruits, and vegetables, along with drinking plenty of water and exercise still is the main key in weight loss. Avoid high fat meals which slows down the metabolism (hint: which will therefore slow down weight loss).

Remember, that by eating a diet right in fruits and veggies helps add fiber as previously mentioned which adds bulk to the intestines which keeps the bowels open and helps cleanse the body of harmful, weight blocking toxins. Fiber also helps in achieving the “full” feeling at meal time which curbs the appetite.

The taller you are the more excuses you can give for having excess calorie in your body. For instance men with height of 6 feet and above don’t have a problem when they weight 75 kilograms but should not exceed 80kilograms.therefore that means that going below 75 kilograms could make you underweight but it is less hazardous to your body than the case of being beyond the weight limit. Women who are 60 kilograms and have a height of six feet should not worry too much. The shorter you are the least weight you are supposed to have. This type of exercise that does not involve vigorous is aerobic and much recommended as it does not leave you with a lot of carbon dioxide in your body. A lot of carbon dioxide in the body leaves its major byproducts such as lactic acid that are not too good for the body. 30 minutes of exercise in at least five days a week will be adequate for you. You may also avoid high intake of high calorie foods like red meat especially roasted one, eggs and frequent consumption of alcohol. This should be substituted with consumption of various vegetables, fruits and taking a lot of water. Boiling the food or even eating it raw especially the fruits will give you an added advantage.

Using Diet and Exercise to Fuel Weight Loss

Many people begin a weight loss program with the best intentions. They reduce calories, exercise regularly and slowly begin to drop weight. After losing for a few weeks or months they hit a plateau which can have a psychologically devastating effect on their desire and ability to stay on track. Many people have difficulty making the proper food choices which will help them achieve their weight loss goal, and believe that because they exercise they can eat larger portions to compensate.

Altering Our Food Perception to Lose Weight

There are a variety of factors which influence the way we view food when trying to lose weight. Most people understand that burgers, fries and ice cream are all bad options individually, but when a healthy food item is added, dieters tend to believe that the total calorie count was somehow magically lowered. Adding a side of broccoli to a piece of fried steak makes it appear more acceptable even though the calories have increased.

Understanding ‘The Dieter’s Paradox’

Researchers call this misperception of mixing healthy and unhealthy foods ‘The Dieter’s Paradox’. The results of a study published in The Journal of Consumer Psychology explains the mindset behind combining foods which promote weight loss with calorie laden choices in participants trying to drop weight. People were shown a high calorie food and asked to estimate the calories. They were then shown the same food with a traditional diet food, such as steamed vegetables or a salad and asked to determine the calorie count.

When presented with the second option, they estimated 5 to 10% lower calories, even though there were clearly more total calories with the additional item. This type of research clearly shows there’s a disconnect occurring in our brain when making the correct choices for a healthy meal to promote weight loss. We see less food calories when even the smallest amount of healthy food is added to the meal.

Eating to Lose Weight

You can combat the natural tendency to underestimate food calories by planning your meals in advance, employ nutritional tracking software and maintaining a food diary. Weigh and measure every food item you prepare and keep track of daily calories and physical activity in your journal. You’ll quickly understand which foods contribute to your weight loss plateau. It’s important to understand that everybody will hit a plateau which can last a few days up to a month or more. This is normal, as your body adjusts to each new weight level. Be patient and your good efforts will be rewarded.

Regular Exercise Leads to Excess Calories Consumed

Everyone knows that regular exercise is vitally important to our health and assists in the weight loss process. The problem is we overestimate the number of calories actually burned through exercise and compensate by eating more food than we need. This is one of the most common mistakes people make when pursuing a weight loss lifestyle.

The best way to avoid eating too much when exercising is to fully understand how many calories you’re burning for each type of exercise. Walking is one of the most popular forms of physical activity, and you’ll burn around 125 calories in a moderately paced 30 minute period. While the exercise is great for your heart and muscles, you don’t need to take in any more calories to compensate. The best rule is to monitor your food diary, and avoid extra calories as a result of your physical activity.

When trying to lose weight, we’re faced with difficult decisions about proper food choices at every meal. Psychologically we perceive the addition of a healthy food item to our plate as a way to include fattening foods, as if they’ll calorically offset one another. We overestimate the number of calories burned through exercise and eat to make up the difference. The only way to avoid these mistakes and achieve your weight loss goal involves judicious tracking of all food eaten each day in a journal, being careful not to rely on exercise as an excuse to overeat.

Fat Loss Program For Women Over 40 – Weight Loss Made Easy

A fat loss program for women over 40 needs to get the job done. I’m going to be honest and straight to the point here because you deserve to hear the truth.

Once you hit the magical age of 40, as a women you will start to lose anywhere between 6% and 8% of your muscle every decade. Now I know you don’t want to look like a bodybuilder and be all big and muscular, but every little bit of lean muscle you have helps to burn body fat around the clock.

That’s right, those tight, lean muscles are actually the best fat burner on the planet. Just by maintaining what you have will keep you body in burn mode 24/7.

To combat this fact of life there are two options. You either need to maintain what you already have or work toward getting some more. Now, once again, don’t be fearful of lifting weights and bulking up. If it were that simple to lift some weights and turn into the next Arnold Schwarzenegger then we wouldn’t be in the midst of an obesity epidemic.

Either way you need to hit the weights. Now when I say that, it doesn’t really matter what type of resistance training you use in a fat loss program for women over 40. I would stick to using a mixture of body weight, kettlebells and other free weights. Aim for three, 30 minute, sessions per week with a focus on quality and intensity. That wasn’t a misprint, three, short and hard sessions per week is all you are going to need to maintain that important, fat burning lean muscle. Stick with full body or compound exercises such as squats, lunges, pushups, pull ups, pulldowns, jumps, swings and presses. You don’t need to do any extra abdominal exercises because the overall effect of your training will ensure that you have a strong and firm core. As you start to lose more belly fat, this sexy lean waistline will reveal itself (without hundreds of boring crunches or situps).

If you have more time available to train, then add on some high intensity interval training and you will be able to burn even more fat. It goes without saying that you need to be following sensible eating plan. Make sure it has the right combination of lean protein, quality carbohydrates and good fats. Once you are eating the correct foods, then we need to look at portion control which will really flick the switch and turn your body into a fat burning furnace!

Weight Loss – 8 Power Diet Tips to Lose Weight Quickly!

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if there was a pill you could take that made your weight just drop off without any effort? (I would be first in the queue if there was any such pill!!) Unfortunately I can’t provide such a pill or tell you of anyone who has come up with any such ‘miracle cure’, but what I can do today though is provide you with 8 power diet tips for rapid and safe weight loss.

So here we go!

Power Tip # 1 – Keep a food journal

People always eat more than they think. Dipping your finger into the cake mixture or eating your child’s left over biscuit are still calories and needs to be counted. Write down everything you eat and be honest! You’ll soon see why you are not losing weight and what you need to cut out to make your weight loss more rapid.

Power Tip # 2 – Drink plenty of water

Often thirst can be mistaken for hunger and a drink of water can alleviate hunger pangs. Also drink a full glass of water before eating your meal and you will feel more full and eat less.

Power Tip # 3 – Exercise

Regular exercise will speed up your metabolism and have the added bonus of making you feel good. Exercise releases ‘feel good’ endorphins’.

Power Tip # 4 – Smaller plates

Sounds crazy doesn’t it?! But it’s well known that we will eat what is put in front of us. By giving yourself a smaller portion in a smaller plate, you will end up eating less. So, eat your food from a smaller plate!

Power Tip # 5 – Eat regularly

Eat five or six small meals a day. This keeps your body working all day – i.e. increased rate of metabolism, keeps your energy levels up and keeps hunger pangs at bay. This way you will also burn more calories than you normally would with the conventional three meals you are used to have.

Power Tip # 6 – Choose wisely

When shopping, read the labels carefully. There is no such thing as low fat cheese for example, it just has a bit less fat. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and opt for low calorie drinks.

Power Tip # 7 – Alcohol = Empty calories!!

If you do have to have a drink then drink something like a wine spritzer where you top up the wine with a large amount of soda water. This way you will stay hydrated and drink less alcohol. Keep in mind that alcohol has major calorie content, so if possible, opt for a non-alcoholic drink. This will make losing those extra pounds just that much easier, or at least save you from adding on any extra weight.

Power Tip # 8 – Rewards

Reward yourself regularly for your achievements. You deserve it.

With these 8 power diet tips at your fingertips you don’t need a diet pill. Just follow them, and you will be well on your way to shedding those extra pounds, fast!

All the best!

HCG Diet Tips – HCG Weight Loss Diet Explained

Many people are starting to share their HCG diet tips and weight loss stories. Developed by Dr. A.T.W. Simeons, this diet was meant to combat and cure obesity. HCG stands for Human Chorionic Gonadotropin and it is a glycoprotein hormone that is produced by the placenta during pregnancy. It is commonly used in fertility treatments, and because of its ability to regulate the hypothalumus gland to burn fat rather than lean muscle tissue, it has become a very popular diet aid.

Dr. Simeons found that by pairing HCG with a specific low calorie diet, his patients easily lost one to two pounds of weight a day. To accelerate the weight loss results, many dieters will speed up their metabolism by following some very simple tips.

1. While on this diet, take a multivitamin daily. The body needs vitamins and minerals to function properly. Vitamin supplements, especially multivitamins can reduce deficiencies, and strengthen the immune system.

2. Drink water and herbal teas. It is essential to keep the body hydrated. You want to drink at least 8 eight ounce glasses of water every day. Herbal teas are calming, refreshing, and generally do not have caffeine in them. Many teas have fruit, or all natural botanicals in them, and can aid with stomach and digestive problems, and help to cleanse the body and mind.

3. Exercise is important. As with any diet plan, you will want to include exercise. Try walking, aerobics, running, strength training, or yoga for 20 – 45 minutes a day, 3 to 5 times a week. The benefits of regular exercise are numerous ranging from and elevated mood and sense of well being, weight loss, and healthy heart and lungs. You stand to gain substantial health benefits by doing 30 minutes or more of moderate-intensity physical activity a day, at least five times a week.

These are very simple HCG diet tips that will help to increase your metabolism, and tame your appetite.

Essential Dieting Tips That You Should Follow

To be honest, there’s no such thing as easy fat loss regardless of so many advertisers on magazines and websites that claim to have the quick fix to fat problems. Yet, there are still plenty of helpful fat burning diets out there that anyone can follow.

Contrary to what many people think, diets don’t have to completely overhaul the way you eat or think about food. There are diets that will not require you to do some drastic changes. You can even lose weight simply by changing the way you perceive food and properly portioning your favorite dishes. I know you have been itching to know how to lose weight fast. This article will show you a few pointers in creating easy to follow diets.

First, eating breakfast is only one of most essential things you can do in the day. Having a proper foundation for the day ahead is often overlooked in the morning rush, but don’t be fooled; eating a meal early in the day raises your blood sugar, gives you plenty of energy and ensures that you don’t over eat later in the day. Something as simple as a glass of skim milk and some oatmeal sprinkled with raisins or granola can be plenty to hold you over for hours.

After the essential breakfast meal, keep in mind that you get some snacks before lunch. It’s true that you should actually eat many smaller meals throughout they day as this makes sure your blood sugar stays constant. It is tradition that tells us to eat three meals a day but it is not ideal for fat loss. Things such as almonds, yogurt or celery with peanut butter are great choices. Having plenty of water will also keep you feeling clear and healthy.

A good diet plan will not deprive you, in fact, you should have enough to consume when it comes lunchtime. You can still have your salad but never put too much dressing and don’t shy away from protein. Complement your salad with salmon, chicken, or turkey. They are great sources of Omega-3 and they are also low in fat.

As you might expect, eating snacks before dinner is also a good thing. Snacking before dinner will consequently prevent you from over-eating your dinner. You will certainly want that. Also drink more water.

Your eating schedule for the day ends with your dinner but it is also a significant part of your diet. Your dinner should have ample amounts of protein (low-fat). It is also okay to have some carbohydrates through preferably whole grain bread or brown rice. Pasta and white rice are a no-no since refined carbs make you gain more weight than you can imagine. Needless to say, alcohol should be avoided but it is up to you. You can party but not too much and too often. Why not have a glass of red wine instead? It is nutritious, delicious, and classy.

It is important to realize that dieting is truly a lifestyle change but it is not as “drastic” as you might first think. Remember that the quickest way to lose weight is not a smooth and easy road. Making easy to follow diets takes some time and patience, yet nearly always pays off with steadily shedding those unwanted pounds. Good luck!
